What you need!!!!

It's amazing how you get exacly what you need and not what you want.
We couldn't afford after the eathquake to pay for my bachelors degree.
when i finished the 2 year program at Altos de Chavon i decided to work a year in illustration and paint a whole year to decide which carreer i would like better.Hahahaha At the end i like both and i currently work in both fields.
So i worked at Edition Zemes and i created artwork for more than 12 schoolbooks who have been published...i didn't like it much because i didn't have freedom to create...i had a specific palette of 2 colors sometimes 3 including black in white...plus i was doing Math books which i totally hated. But i loved the people there...skedule was 9 to 5 pm which left me barely any time to paint, also saturday half day.I finished my year anyway, had a great experience and learned more about the design programs photoshop and illustrator...and so much things about book making.
My painting year was interupted by the earthquake in januanry 2010,my house was damaged and we all got separated and i left for Miami from the DR for 4 months.
my parents came later...my brother and sister ended up in Guatelamala...ah a total advanture.
I have applied for over 100 scholarships for art programs and residencies and the bachelor.....all over from USA, Canada to Europe.
I have been denied in some for not having enough experience, scholarship didn't cover the total cost for others...or the best one OVER QUALIFIED....or for earthquake survivors that lost everything.....or felloships for people that had no previous art instruction.
ok so notthing for Annick....Go Home...
And this year i started to realise why im here....it's no mistake!!!!
im getting all the art classes specific to what i want to learn one on one with the artists at the gallery.
NOw thats pretty amasing...
today i was with this great landscape Artist Colinet who was showing me how to do miniature trees.
In return i gave him a bunch of oil paint tube that i got at Altos de Chavon...he was so happy, he wasn't expecting anything...finding art material in Haiti is a challenge.
Everything is overpriced if available, and sometimes you cant even find the most basic thing like gesso, or paint brushes.
i gave him 4 small tubes of each colors,12 colors and a set of brushes....he made my day,
i probably made his too :)
All this got me thinking maybe i should start a foundation for artist to get free materials...i know their needs and i know where to buy it...and i could easily find out who needs what.
where to start????
how do you create a Fondation or organisation anyway????
im going to find out.....
